The Central New York Dietetic Association recognizes the enormous value of work experience, and encourages all members to share their particular area of expertise with others. Mentors can contribute to the careers of others by offering their insight and guidance, while mentees can gain a glimpse of a possible future career direction, or answer questions pertaining to their current career. Recognizing that all mentors are volunteers, we suggest the following guidelines to insure that the experience is valuable for all and that an attitude of respect and appreciation is maintained.
